This is a contract role for a Senior Network Support/Desktop Support Engineer freelance specialist located in Ely. The specialist will be responsible for providing on-site support, troubleshooting network and desktop issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. Daily tasks include diagnosing and resolving technical problems, implementing network solutions, and delivering high-quality support services.

• Network Support, Desktop Support, and IT Troubleshooting skills
• Experience with network configuration, installation, and maintenance
• Knowledge of security protocols, VPNs, and firewalls
• Hardware and software troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
