We are the Lavazza HR Talent Acquisition Team and we are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our Sales Innovation & Effectiveness team as a Business Data Scientist Intern.

The Team is committed to drive sales growth & cost efficiency through innovation and process improvement, leverage data-driven insights, and deliver exceptional value.

As a Business Data Scientist Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside industry experts and contribute to our mission of transforming through advanced data analytics.

You will collaborate with our experienced & young team to analyze complex datasets, develop predictive models, and generate actionable insights. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in leveraging data to drive business strategies while contributing to our ongoing success.

📊 Your Day-to-day Activities

• Conduct data analysis and modeling to support various business initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and develop data-driven solutions
• Clean, transform, and preprocess large datasets for analysis
• Apply statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to identify patterns and trends
• Develop predictive models and algorithms to support decision-making processes
• Communicate findings and insights effectively through reports and presentations
• Stay up-to-date with the latest data science methodologies, tools, and technologies
  
  
  

💡 Who We’re Looking For

• You’re available for a 6-month full time internship. Starting date: March 2025
• You’ll be fluent in Italian and English - you’ll probably have an international experience? Way to go!
• You have a Degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Familiarity with data manipulation and visualization tools, such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
• Knowledge in programming languages such as Python or R is a plus
