Cyber Security Analyst

In partnership with our client in Basel I am recruiting for a Cyber Security Analyst to join the team.

Role Overview:

My client is seeking a fluent German speaking Cyber Security Analyst to join the growing team in Basel with the role been a mix of office and home office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigation or triage of cyber security incidents within the SOC & SIEM platform.
• Proactively research and monitor security-relevant log sources to help identify threats to networks, systems and data.
• Management of incident responses and timely coordination of mitigation measures in cooperation with our customers.
• Providing recommendations or workarounds to our customers to reduce business impact.
• Perform basic malware analysis and forensic analysis of network activity, hard drives and storage.
• Creating reports and visualizations of security attacks for the customer or service manager.
• Implementation and operation of SOC-relevant technologies (e.g. SIEM)
• Willingness to work shifts and on-call duty

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Cyber Security Analyst
• C Level German speaker
• Degree in Cyber Security / Computer Science
