The Mission:

We're on the lookout for a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind automating and enhancing our software development and deployment processes. Working closely with development, level 2 support and operations teams, your mission is to ensure our continuous integration and delivery pipelines are efficient, while keeping our infrastructure stable and scalable.

Your Day to Day:

Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD): Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to streamline build, test, and deployment processes.

Containerization and Orchestration: Manage and optimize Docker environments and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes to ensure application scalability and reliability.

Infrastructure Management: Oversee and maintain on-premise virtual machines, ensuring a resilient, scalable, and high-performance infrastructure that meets operational demands.

Automation: Utilize Ansible, along with Bash and Python scripting, to automate configuration management and deployment tasks, enhancing operational efficiency.

Database Administration: Administer and fine-tune databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.

Monitoring and Logging: Implement and manage monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and Elasticsearch to maintain system health and performance visibility.

Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network-related issues to maintain seamless connectivity and system performance.

Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to monitor .NET applications, providing insights and support to enhance performance and reliability.

Experience:

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or system administration roles.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and Azure DevOps.
• Strong experience in managing and optimizing PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis databases.
• Solid understanding of on-premise virtual machines and Linux systems, particularly CentOS and Oracle Linux.
• Advanced scripting skills in Bash and Python for automation purposes.
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Elasticsearch.
• Proven ability in network troubleshooting and a deep understanding of network concepts.
• Experience in monitoring .NET applications from a performance and logging perspective.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Apache Kafka for data streaming.
• Relevant certifications in DevOps or system administration.
• Experience with performance tuning and capacity planning to ensure infrastructure scalability and efficiency.
• Familiarity with high availability (HA) and fault tolerance strategies to minimize downtime and improve system resilience.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
