Assignment Description

For our client, we are seeking a Deputy of Program Manager to support the Program Manager in the overall planning, coordination, and execution of the HR transformation program. The role involves facilitating the transition from the current service provider to a new one, overseeing the development and refinement of a standardized global template for HR processes and systems, and establishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and country-specific teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Program Manager in overall planning, coordination, and execution of the HR transformation program.
  • Act as the primary deputy, leading the program independently when required.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment with program objectives.
  • Facilitate the transition from the current service provider to a new one, ensuring minimal disruption to HR operations.
  • Oversee all aspects of the transition process, including risk management, issue resolution, and contingency planning.
  • Support the development and refinement of a standardized global template for HR processes and systems, ensuring it is adaptable for local needs across 6 countries.
  • Coordinate with regional teams to customize and implement the global template in line with local regulations and business practices.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and country-specific teams.
  • Facilitate regular program updates, steering committee meetings, and progress reviews.
  • Serve as a communication bridge to ensure transparency and alignment across all levels of the organization.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading large-scale, multi-country transformation programs or projects.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive program success when the situation demands.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Familiarity with HR systems (SAP SuccessFactors, Workday or similar), processes, and change management methodologies.
  • Experience working in a global environment, with the ability to navigate cultural nuances and diverse regulatory landscapes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior leaders and technical teams alike.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adjust priorities as needed.
  • Comfortable managing multiple streams of work simultaneously and adapting to changing project requirements.
