Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse and manipulate large datasets using Python and SQL to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Create and maintain automated reporting and dashboards using Power BI.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define KPIs, business metrics, and analytical requirements.
• Build statistical models and forecasts to assist with decision-making.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous data validation and cleansing techniques.
• Translate complex data analysis into clear, understandable business recommendations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Data Analyst or similar role, preferably in a freelance capacity.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, data extraction, and analysis.
• Expertise in data visualization and reporting tools, particularly Power BI.
• Solid experience with Python for data analysis, automation, and building models.
• Some experience working with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Strong ability to analyse large datasets, draw insights, and generate actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical data to non-technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the Finance Industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and database management systems.
• Knowledge of data privacy laws, including GDPR compliance.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
