What you would do as our Embedded Software Developer?
As a Linux Embedded Software Developer in the Electronic Access Control (EAC) division, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining embedded software for next-generation access control products. Your work will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of electronic access security, contributing to systems that are used globally in various sectors.
You would also:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize embedded Linux software for security devices and access control systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware engineers, firmware developers, product managers) to design and implement new features.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance the performance of existing software.
- Work with hardware interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, RS485, etc.) for device integration.
- Ensure software quality through testing, code reviews, and maintaining adherence to security standards.
- Contribute to system architecture design and implementation of secure embedded systems.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Has several years of hands-on experience in embedded Linux development, being familiar with Buildroot or Yocto or other embedded Linux build systems, with knowledge of Linux kernel internals (device tree, kernel) and bootloader (U-Boot).
- Is proficient in modern C/C++.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative work environment.
- Has some familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Is available to work onsite in our Zabierzow or Krakow office, around 2 days per week.
