Responsibilities

You have the opportunity to experience the niche Murex software as well as DBS inhouse application software that supports the entire GFM business Front office/Back office etc. Good exposure to gain knowledge on various treasury financial products

• Closely work with traders,business management & Finance teams to explain and resolve various products P&L and pricing issue
• A team player across all sub-teams within Murex Support group
• Able to provide quality service to business users
• To provide day-to-day production support for the Murex/MLC/Risk users (Front office, Back-office, Finance )
• To carry out Duty Support rotations among the team members. Mostly on-call basis during off office hours (less frequent but mostly during 6am-10am period) in case of escalations from our level 1 team. Also carry out weekend implementations for new product features when on duty week
• To develop monitoring tools/alerts to create proactive actions
• Able to take ownership of issues and follow through to closure
• To communicate effectively and work efficiently with a group of people supporting both functional/technical areas
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Financial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Enthusiastic candidates with degrees in Financial engineering without prior knowledge in Murex is welcome to apply too
• Good Technical & Troubleshooting skills
• Good understanding of Treasury products Money markets, Derivative products(Bonds,FX,Equity, Options and commodities) preferred
• Ability to multi-task and possess good communication skills
• Basic knowledge in Unix & SQL would be good to have
• Knowledge of Murex modules (e-tradepad, simulation, Limits, Livebook, Datamart etc) would be good to have
