Android Developer - Futures

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Futures team's new user-facing features in Android applications for our exchange
• Have the ability to balance high response, stable and efficient code with attractive and functional aesthetics
• Work together with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Efficiently use third-party data sources and APIs
• Create and execute unit tests on your code, to ensure its robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs and improve application performance
• Participate in technical, design, and product discussions with your fellow partners on the team, and with other partners throughout the organization.
  
  

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience developing production software
• Advanced degree in computer science or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
• Experience at renowned internet companies or cryptocurrency exchanges preferred
• Experience working with Jetpack, Retrofit, Okhttp and Flutter is a plus.
• Experience working with webSocket network programming and real-time data processing
• Deeply understand the principles of the Android framework and be familiar with performance optimization techniques
• Passion for using various analysis tools to deeply research and solve various difficult problems, and good at solving android app performance issues
• Strong communication, collaboration, an excitement for sharing your own ideas, and openness to the ideas of others
