We seek a BI Enginer to tackle large-scale challenges and create meaningful impact together!

Responsibilities

As a BI Engineer, you will design, develop, and implement data warehousing (DWH) and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with project managers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of BI components, dashboards, and reports. Your role will also involve mentoring junior team members and driving best practices within the team.

  • Design, Develop, and Implement: Create DWH/BI solutions that meet project requirements and technical specifications.
  • Optimize Data Models and ETL: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and high performance through effective data models and ETL processes.
  • Build Dashboards and Reports: Develop interactive, insightful reports and visualizations that present data in a clear, compelling manner.
  • Problem Diagnosis and Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues in DWH/BI solutions or data, ensuring timely fixes.
  • Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members when needed.
  • Promote Best Practices: Ensure consistency and quality across BI development processes.
  • Stay Updated: Keep current with the latest trends and technologies in the BI and DWH space to inform solution design


Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience in BI development, data modeling, ETL processes, and building dashboards/reports.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong SQL skills with the ability to write and optimize queries.
    • Proficient in one or more database engines (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Business Objects).
    • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hands-on knowledge of at least one.
    • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts like dimensional modeling and star schema design.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical abilities with a knack for independently solving complex data problems.
  • Communication: Excellent English language skills, with the ability to clearly communicate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (can be in progress).
  • Team Skills: Effective at providing feedback, collaborating, and guiding team members.
