The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Senior Project Manager and Business Operations Manager on a major UK project based in Suffolk, working with an esteemed client.

Requirements for role:


Must have a wide range of experience in project management in a highly regulated & safety focused organisation. Ideally in Power, Nuclear, Utilities, Rail, Construction. Oil & Gas etc.


  • Proven track record of managing projects throughout the full project lifecycle, across a range of complex multi-discipline projects and environments, and full management of an integrated project team including staff, agency and assigned functional engineering support teams.
  • Manage technical queries in accordance with client procedures
  • Experience of delivering construction projects under CDM.
  • Full understanding of the functionality of Safety Cases.
  • High level of commercial awareness to include cost control, estimating, planning including preparation of business cases.
  • Experience in the preparation of reports and information using Microsoft Office. Proficient in the use of scheduling, estimating, programming and risk tools and in the use of Earned Value tools. Strong analytical approach with high-level of problem-solving ability.
  • Strong compliance expertise in relation to the application of safety, environmental and quality standards. Uphold and promote company policies and procedures together with all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications

Degree educated, ideally in engineering or a related subject, with preferred Chartership.

APMP formal project management qualification or equivalent and skilled in modern project management techniques.


Clearance Requirements: BPSS/CTC Cleared or ability to achieve this.
