Software Engineer

We have a very exciting open position as a "Software Engineer" with one of our clients.

Position: Software Engineer

Start: asap

Duration: 12 Month with option for extension

Workload: 100 %

Location: Zürich, Hybrid possible

Tasks:

• You create and maintain the Software Requirements Specification and also the test cases
• You review and test against the Software Requirements Specification and establish test traceability
• You write automatic test scripts for test automation environment. (C++, Squish, Python)
• You execute manual and automatic tests and report resultsOu analyze and describe issues/bugs in our issues Database JIRA
• You analyze and describe issues/bugs in our issues Database JIRA
• You synchronize and update the Test Results Management tool
• You perform formal system tests (Factory Acceptance Test)
• You perform analysis of defects/incidents to find the root cause of problem
• You may contribute to development activities

Qualifications:

• You have computing experience and with real-time and security requirements
• You have a proven experience in another safety critical domain, in the fields of requirements and tests with mission critical software
• You are a hands-on person with a proven experience in the writing of software requirement specifications and in the software testing / You have a proven experience with test automation tools (use of Squish, Jenkins experiences are major advantages for this position)
• You have a high analytical capacity, and you can understand the end user needs to transcript them into software requirements for the Development Team or into your test cases
• A C++ or Python development experience is appreciated
• Knowledges of standards such as ED153/ED109 or ED12B/C are major advantages for this position
• The usage of tools like IBM Rational DOORS or Siemens Polarion is appreciated
• You are organized with an ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and utilize time effectively
• You are rigorous, and you have a taste for challenge to work in a dynamic environment with a good team spirit
• Fluent written and spoken English is required, German or French is a plus
