GlobantSenior UX/UI Designer

We are looking for a UX/UI Designer to join our team. This role involves designing user-centered experiences from start to finish, with a focus on delivering high-quality, complex web/desktop interfaces. You will work autonomously, with oversight from the Experience Design Lead, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Dev/Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance. You will leverage data, insights, and research to inform design decisions and ensure that the designs meet both staff and customer needs. The ideal candidate will have experience executing end-to-end UX processes, from discovery to final UI delivery, and possess strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:


UX Research & Strategy:

  • Conduct user research (qualitative and quantitative) to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors across different user groups.
  • Analyze customer feedback and business data to identify opportunities for design improvements and measure UX metrics.
  • Develop user personas, journeys, and task flows that reflect user needs, business goals, and product objectives.
  • Plan and conduct usability testing, A/B testing, and user validation studies to ensure design decisions are informed by real user feedback.

Autonomous Work & Collaboration:

  • Manage your work independently while collaborating with other Experience Designers and Leads to implement a cohesive UX strategy for staff-facing products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, Developers, Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance teams, to ensure that designs align with business objectives and user needs.

UI Design:

  • Produce high-fidelity UI designs that leverage internal design systems, ensuring consistency across products for both staff and customer-facing interfaces.
  • Maintain and enhance design systems, ensuring they are scalable and adaptable to new products/features.
  • Ensure designs are visually appealing, functional, and user-friendly, balancing aesthetics with usability.

End-to-End Design Execution:

  • Lead and execute the full design process, from discovery and research to final UI delivery, ensuring user needs and business goals are met.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and UI assets that communicate design concepts and solutions to stakeholders and development teams.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Effectively manage relationships with diverse stakeholders, including Product Owners, Dev/Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance teams.
  • Influence decision-making and ensure that design specifications and assets meet the requirements of the delivery team.

Agile Collaboration:

  • Work closely as part of an Agile delivery team to ensure that design assets and specifications align with development cycles, adapting designs based on feedback and iteration.

Design Optimization:

  • Use data analytics, usability testing, and behavioral insights to optimize designs, ensuring user-centric solutions that enhance engagement, usability, and satisfaction.

Beyond Digital Solutions:

  • Consider environmental factors and broader contexts (e.g., physical vs. digital interfaces) in how users interact with technology, delivering holistic design solutions.


Qualifications:


  • Human-Centered Design Expertise: In-depth knowledge of human-centered design principles, with the ability to apply them throughout the entire design process.
  • End-to-End Design Process: Proven ability to execute the full UX design process, from discovery and user research to final UI design and delivery, ensuring user needs and business goals are aligned at each step.
  • Complex Interface Design: Experience designing complex web/desktop interfaces, particularly those focused on staff-facing or enterprise solutions.
  • Customer Research & Testing: Expertise in using usability testing, A/B testing, customer research, and digital analytics to drive and enhance design optimization.
  • Agile Experience: Experience working in Agile teams, managing UX delivery within sprints, and collaborating closely with development teams.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and ensure designs meet their needs.
  • Problem-Solving & Design Skills: Excellent conceptual and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into intuitive, user-friendly solutions.
  • UX Expertise: Experience in user journey mapping, creating personas, and delivering task flows that align with user needs and business goals.
  • Experience with AI (Nice-to-Have): Experience in designing for AI solutions is a plus, though not required.
  • Product Operating Model Experience (Nice-to-Have): Experience working within a Product Operating Model preferred.
