AI Research Engineer

VeroTech is looking for an AI Research Engineer, with expertise in Large Language Models (LLM)!

Your mission

As an AI Research Engineer, you will leverage your knowledge in language-based AI to design and implement new system architectures, processes, and proof-of-concepts for accurate chatbots. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and testing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for various data sources.
• Designing agentic, knowledge-supported LLM architectures tailored to different stakeholders.
• Exploring and applying prompt engineering techniques.
• Leading and collaborating with the research team.
• Training and mentoring team members to share knowledge and skills.

Your profile

• Master's or PhD in Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in language-based AI with recent research on LLMs for production industries.
• A research-oriented mindset with a focus on technological innovation and achieving results for top industries.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in mentoring and working collaboratively with junior colleagues.
