Devops Engineer

Location: Dublin/Hybrid (2 days per week required onsite)

Rate : €285 per day

12 month contract that will renew each year

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Dublin-based client on a contract basis. This role focuses on maintaining and optimizing on-premises infrastructure, with less emphasis on cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing on-prem environments, automating build and release processes, and troubleshooting critical systems.

• Support and maintain on-premises infrastructure for development and test environments.
• Automate and enhance build and release processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WebLogic, Chef, and Docker in an on-prem environment.
• Work with incident management and service desk tools.
• Perform live releases, system maintenance, and upgrades, including occasional out-of-hours support.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement fixes for live issues.
• Collaborate with delivery, architecture, database, and test teams.
  
  

• Strong experience with on-prem environments.
• Java, Docker, CI/CD, SQL, Git, UNIX basics (shell scripting), Chef, Web Services, Relational Databases (Ingres/MySQL), Troubleshooting.
