Software Engineer in Test

Position: Java SDET - Software Development & Quality Assurance OR Software Development Engineer in Test

Location: Luxembourg (Hybrid)

Technical Know-How:

• Experience: 6+ years of experience as a Developer.
• Core Skills:
• Java / Spring
• CI / CD
• Test Automation
• Performance Analysis & Tuning (Java, SQL)
• GitLab (Git Version Control)
• Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
• Additional Skills (preferred):
• Banking knowledge (understanding of main financial instruments) – distinct advantage
• SaaS / Cloud (basic knowledge)
• Shell Scripting (Bash, Ksh, CMD) on RHEL / Windows – advantage

Responsibilities:

• Develop solutions for regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with the technical architect on solution design and with the business analyst on gathering requirements.
• Gain exposure to business functions and contribute to their alignment with technical solutions.
• Take responsibility for maintaining and providing level 3 production support for your work.
• Participate in technical onboarding and mentorship under the guidance of the Head of Development.
• Work in a Java and Oracle environment across both Windows and Linux platforms.
• Operate within an Agile methodology and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate ownership and a drive for excellence in all tasks.

Language Competencies:

• English: Fluent (Required)
• German: A plus
