Job Overview:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Java Developer with a strong background in microservices architecture, Java development, and cloud-based technologies. The successful candidate will have expertise in both development and post-go-live support, ensuring the successful delivery of software solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain robust Java applications using Java8 or higher, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Build and maintain RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize end-to-end solutions.
• Work with Azure DevOps to manage CI/CD pipelines, enabling smooth deployment and integration processes.
• Utilize Git for version control, Eclipse/IntelliJ IDE for development, Maven for project management, and Jenkins/Docker for build automation.
• Take responsibility for the maintenance and enhancements of applications post-go-live, ensuring stability and functionality.
• Ensure high standards of code quality and development best practices are followed.
• Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Work closely with stakeholders and customers to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Engage in troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner to meet service level agreements.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Competent Level (5+ years) or Proficient Level (8+ years) of relevant experience in Java development, with strong expertise in:
• Java 8 or higher
• Spring Boot and Microservices architecture
• Web Services (REST/SOAP)
• Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline implementation
• Git concepts, Eclipse/IntelliJ IDE, Maven, Jenkins, Docker concepts
• End-to-end application lifecycle management (including maintenance post-go-live)
• Proven experience in Agile development environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated experience in customer-facing roles, engaging with clients directly to deliver solutions.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of banking domain is a plus.
• Familiarity with Ansible, Kibana, and Kafka.
• Willingness to work with the BTT Framework.
• Experience with Linux-based development environments.
• Strong ability to work independently and in a self-driven manner.
