Are you passionate about innovative solutions that bring hardware to life? Do you have all kinds of hobby projects related to embedded systems? As a Sensor Superstar at Momo, you will work on writing code for products used by caregivers (such as pendants and our BedSense) as well as calibration machines used by the production team to assemble all those sensors.
Who is Momo?
Momo Medical is a fast-growing and ambitious scale-up in Delft that focuses on one of society's biggest challenges: the future of (elderly) care. In the next 10 years, the demand for care will double, while 30% of the current workforce will retire. With our innovative solutions, we want to both reduce the pressure on caregivers and improve the quality of care. In short, we want to improve the quality of life for nursing home residents and increase the job satisfaction of caregivers.
The most valuable aspects of the role
💻 A laptop of your choice.
💗 Plenty of room to contribute, learn and grow. And above all, make a difference in the healthcare industry.
💡 Work with many developers across teams to integrate software with cutting-edge hardware designs.
🗓️ Hybrid work, at least 3 days p/w in Delft so you can easily create, test, and work on prototypes and products.
🎉 Hobby with electronics by writing software to make our current stuff better, while thinking along, initiating and building on new things.
These are your responsibilities
You will design, develop, and optimize firmware code for microcontrollers and devices used by caregivers and Momo’s production tigers.
You get energy from building trustworthy software, decoding code, and structuring it. You have extensive experience with C, C++ and can think of better jokes than ChatGPT did with this one: “Why do embedded developers love C? Because it’s close to the metal, but not too close.” 🦾➕
Because you want to make a difference in healthcare at both home and abroad. Because you are excited about a fast-growing scale-up where no two days are the same. And because you want to work with enthusiastic and talented international colleagues who all work hard to make healthcare a little bit better every day, and at the same time really enjoy lunch and (Friday) afternoon drinks together.

- An affinity for 3D design is nice to have.
- Strengths: flexible, proactive, able to gather and give feedback.
