2. Job Summary *

*Fix Current Known Bugs:

* Identify and resolve existing bugs to improve the stability and functionality of our Android application.

* *Identify Bottlenecks:

* Analyse the application to detect performance bottlenecks and provide solutions to optimise performance.

* *Propose State-of-the-Art Enhancements:

* Suggest and implement innovative features and improvements to ensure our application remains at the forefront of technology and user experience.

4. Required Skills & Competencies

* Proven experience as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio of released applications.

* In-depth knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.

* Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.

* Strong understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.

* Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.

* Basic knowledge of AWS (Amazon Web Services) is a must.

* Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

*Preferred Qualifications:*

* Experience with Kotlin.

* Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.

* Familiarity with WebViews, cloud message APIs and push notifications.

* Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
