We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Product Manager to join our global Product Portfolio Development team based in Northern Europe. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and executing the delivery and maintenance of a robust, sustainable, and profitable product portfolio that aligns with Teknos’ strategy and consistently meets our customers' demands.

As a Product Manager, you will oversee the Product Life Cycle Management and Assortment Management for selected product categories and countries. Additionally, you will manage product-related projects, driving collaboration across various teams and regions

This role offers a hybrid working model that includes regular visits to one of the assigned Teknos offices in Finland, Sweden, Denmark or Norway, depending on your location (you need to be permanently located in one of mentioned countries).

Daily tasks and responsibilities:

• Ensure the product portfolio in your assigned category complies with regulations and market requirements
• Manage and optimize the product assortment for sustainable, healthy growth
• Oversee all aspects of in-life products, including product positioning, key selling points, and customer feedback
• Lead cross-functional, cross-country projects to successful completion, including product development from idea to launch and environmental initiatives
• Conduct competitor benchmarking and industry analysis to ensure competitiveness
• Manage the phase-out of discontinued products throughout the entire value chain
• Coordinate the creation of product information content to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Monitor and report on product categories quarterly
• Ensure the execution of product request groups and provide updates during S&OP review meetings
• Support regional organizations with business-related requests and regional assortments
• Assess and support private label initiatives
• Provide day-to-day support to ensure smooth operations across departments

Key skills and qualifications:

• Several years of experience in a similar role related to product management, preferably from a coating industry or related chemical field or other industries
• Strong understanding of product management principles and processes
• Experience and/or knowledge of Marketing, Technical, R&D fields will be additional asset but is not required
• Previous experience working in Nordic or international environments is preferred
• Deep understanding of product life cycle management
• Commercial mindset with solid understanding of B2B and B2C markets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience in managing projects across functions and countries
• Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) and one of local languages, depending on your location - Finnish, Swedish, Danish or Norwegian
