Senior Java Engineer

Project details: The product is an integrated facility management solution designed to streamline and optimize the management of facilities, assets, field services, energy, and refrigerants. It offers a comprehensive set of tools to enhance operational efficiency, sustainability, and control across the entire facility ecosystem.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in development of Java-based web applications
  • Strong proficiency in Java, JSP/JSTL
  • Expertise in developing REST APIs
  • Practical experience with JS, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap CSS
  • Knowledge of Oracle 19c, SQLLite
  • Hands-on experience with Docker containers, Jenkins
  • Working experience with MS Azure
  • Proficient in using development tools like IntelliJ, Postman, Swagger
  • Strong understanding of version control, security best practices, and Agile methodologies, especially SAFe
  • Familiarity with est-driven development
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to mentor junior developers.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with mobile development, using Titanum-SDK, MCP

Responsibilities:

  • Building new features on the top of existing web application, using Java, JSP
  • Adding new functionality for mobile applications
  • Support of existing applications (bug fixes, security updates, technical improvements)
  • Work, using SAFe methodology, to deliver incremental value, actively participating in code reviews, sprint planning, and design discussions.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production and staging environments.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
