Senior DevOps

We are looking for a Senior DevOps professional to participate in restructuring a product unit to independently run support in the 'Engineering Core Compute' product area. This pivotal role involves optimizing system functionality and support processes across a widely used product that serves 1500 customers and is utilized by Field Sales Engineers.

This position requires working in a hybrid mode, with office attendance three times per week.

Responsibilities

• Manage the deployment of Microsoft SQL Server on both Linux and Windows platforms using Terraform and Ansible
• Set up and maintain MS SQL Always On Availability Groups (AOAG) and Failover Clusters using Pacemaker Linux cluster software
• Execute performance testing using HammerDB and TPCC test on MS SQL Server
• Analyze and optimize the performance of MS SQL Server across different operating systems
• Provide technical guidance and support for the configurations related to Windows clustering and shared storage solutions
  
  
  

Requirements

• System administrator-level understanding of Windows
• Understanding of Windows clustering
• Solid understanding of basic networking concepts
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Some exposure to performance testing concepts and tooling
  
  
  

Nice to have

• PowerShell scripting experience
• Familiarity with Terraform
• Familiarity with shared storage
• Understanding of Active Directory
• Basic experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• General understanding of Linux and Bash scripting
