Softwares Engineer - Ops Efficiency Squad

Stake is the MENA region’s most exciting real estate fintech company, combining real estate expertise and innovative financial technology to deliver products that empower everyone to own and build wealth through Real Estate. Launched in 2021 we have grown rapidly, leveraging decades of experience in technology, financial services and global real estate, to launch the MENA region’s first mobile app for fractional real estate investing.

Product & Technology teams lead the charge in developing our platform and solutions, empowering our customers to invest with confidence.

We are establishing a new squad dedicated to enhancing efficiencies within our core operations. This team will collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including the Head of Company Operations and the CPTO, to define and execute a strategic roadmap. Leveraging a tailored set of technologies, the squad will focus on ensuring the company's operations are scalable and sustainable for future growth.

• Work directly with CPTO and Head of Company Operations on a backlog that will involve improving the efficiency of internal tools
• Implement new tools using 3rd party technologies that will facilitate the execution of key business processes
• Help create complex multi-market, multi-region systems that span across UAE and Saudi Arabia, but focus on their operationally scalability.

We iterate small and often - we do around 15 deployments per week with a small team. We work in 2-week sprints in cross-functional squads

• 2+ years of experience working in a fast-paced agile software environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver small yet high-impact features and initiatives.
• Strong understanding or keen interest in driving operational efficiency.
• Proficiency in or a strong ability to quickly learn our tech stack, particularly React, TypeScript, and Laravel PHP.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup setting
• Skilled in product engineering with a passion for building innovative fintech solutions
• A love for contributing to product development
• Strong ambition to contribute to and thrive in a high-growth environment
• Collaborative mindset, enjoys working as part of a team and values teamwork
• Bonus: demonstrated ability to use AI and deliver interesting solutions (e.g. has made a small project at home using some AI technology)
