Senior Frontend Software Engineer

QuantumGate is a startup within VentureOne, supported by the Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC) and its research arm, the Technology Innovation Institute (TII). We specialize in developing and commercializing advanced post-quantum cryptographic solutions, with a mission to secure enterprise digital environments through cutting-edge protocols and applications that tackle the challenges of the post-quantum era.

We’re seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to design, develop, and enhance responsive and intuitive user interfaces using Flutter. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering seamless and engaging front-end solutions, ensuring optimal user experience while aligning with our broader software development goals.

Responsibilities

• Frontend Development: Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications using Flutter, ensuring responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
• UI/UX Design: Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to translate business requirements into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Frontend Architecture: Implement scalable frontend architecture that supports modularity, reusability, and efficient data handling.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with backend teams to ensure seamless integration between frontend applications and backend services.
• Security Integration: Apply secure coding practices to ensure frontend applications are protected against common vulnerabilities and threats.
• Code Optimization: Optimize front-end performance to ensure fast loading times and smooth user interactions.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of front-end development experience, with a focus on building applications using Flutter.
• Frontend Development: Strong expertise in front-end development, including creating responsive and scalable user interfaces.
• UI/UX Design: Proven ability to collaborate on UI/UX design and translate technical requirements into engaging user experiences.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Experience working effectively with backend teams to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend services.
• Security Awareness: Solid understanding of secure coding practices for front-end applications and familiarity with web security vulnerabilities.
• Problem Solving: Analytical approach to identifying front-end challenges and providing effective, user-centric solutions.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clearly present technical ideas.
