Investment Analyst

We are assisting an European Private Equity Fund in its search for a talented Investment Analyst to join the Munich Office. The Analyst will play a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough financial and strategic analysis of potential investment targets, including industry research, company valuation, and risk assessment.
• Participate in due diligence processes, working closely with deal teams to gather information and assess investment risks.
• Develop financial models to project the financial performance of potential investments and evaluate the impact of various scenarios.
• Prepare comprehensive investment presentations for internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicating investment recommendations.
• Assist in the ongoing monitoring and management of existing portfolio companies, providing support with financial reporting, strategic planning, and operational issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field with outstanding academic results
• Previous experience experience in Investment Banking, Consulting, Private Equity or any related field
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills - in both German and English
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
