C/C++ Software Developer Platform with Linux of Product Digitalisation (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Accountable for realizing functional and non-functional requirements in software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of embedded systems
• within broader applications and the cloud.
• Supporter of the common code base of the SDK.
• Develop and maintain multi-platform software.
• Create and execute test plans to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Utilize scripting languages to automate repetitive tasks and improve development efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Embedded Chapter to define system requirements and specifications.
• Note that embedded into a matrix organization, the term chapter is applied to a group of people with a common objective, but who are not reporting on the same line.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Your profile

• Hard skills in software development.
• Strong analytical and technical understanding. High problem-solving skill
• Fluent English skills.
• Ability to work in a global environment with diversified cultures and a cross-functional, multi-cultural, and international environment.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Relevant certifications in Linux administration or embedded systems development are advantageous.
• Proven 3+ years of experience in software development using Linux OS.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ including C++17 or higher.
• Secondary knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, Bash) for automation and testing. 
• Basic knowledge of SQL.
• First experience with software design patterns.
• Experience with the Qt-Framework might be useful.
• Experience with cross-compilation and build systems (e.g., Yocto, Buildroot).
