Algorithmic Trading Strategist - DeFi

Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients an Algorithmic Trading Strategist - DeFi - this is a hybrid role in Singapore.

We are the biggest interest rate trading platform in the blockchain space, with more than $5B in Total Value Locked. We are a small, fast-moving team who are constantly building innovative products at the forefront of technology and finance.

We're launching Boros, a groundbreaking new platform for trading interest rate swaps on perpetual funding rates, and we're building a team of passionate, driven individuals to make it a success.

About the Role:

We're seeking a sharp, highly motivated Algorithmic Trading Strategist to join our core team and play a crucial role in the launch and growth of Boros. You'll be working directly with the founders and a small team of experienced engineers to help design, build, and optimize market-making systems that will contribute to the liquidity on the Boros platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trading System Design & Implementation:
• Help with the design and implementation of a robust and scalable trading system, including monitoring and alerting systems
• Identify potential points of failure, performance bottlenecks, and areas for optimization within the trading system
• Strategy Development & Improvement:
• Refine and improve existing market-making strategies for Boros
• Conduct research and analysis to identify new trading opportunities and strategies
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with co-founders and engineers to align trading strategies with the overall priorities
• Communicate technical concepts and trading performance clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Proactively identify and address potential risks and challenges
  
  

Requirements

Strong understanding of market microstructure, order book dynamics, and trading strategies (market making, arbitrage, etc.).

Experience with programming languages for trading systems (Python, Typescript, Go, Rust ...)

Experience implementing or improving trading strategies

Good understanding of funding rates and cash-and-carry strategies.

An interest in DeFi and the future of finance.
