We are looking for a passionate and talented Software Engineer to join our client’s software engineering team. Based in London with a hybrid working model, this successful travel-focused eCommerce business offers an exciting environment for growth, creativity, and innovation.

If you’re a junior-to-mid-level engineer with a strong foundation in PHP development, this is the perfect role to elevate your career. You would be joining their SEO team so if you have experience in these types of projects that would be beneficial.

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with the engineering and marketing teams to integrate SEO best practices into the website architecture.
• Use your PHP expertise to develop and optimize backend features for better performance and scalability.
• Ensure the website meets SEO standards, including Google Core Web Vitals and other key metrics.
• Leverage your JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills to improve frontend user experiences.
• Work with platforms like Drupal and Symphony to customize and enhance functionality.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 2+ years of PHP development experience in a professional setting.
• Frontend Familiarity: Basic to intermediate skills in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Preferred Skills: Experience with Drupal or Symphony is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Preferred Skills: SEO Knowledge, understanding of SEO tools and metrics (e.g., Google Core Web Vitals).
