As a UX Designer At Aparkado, You Will
We’re looking for someone who:
aparkado is a growing startup that wants to solve the parking problem for truckers in europe. Our intelligent app supports in finding available parking spots. It offers data-based solutions to improve the daily work of drivers. We all share one vision - we want to revolutionize the logistics industry!

As a UX Designer At Aparkado, You Will
- Design impactful user experiences: Own the end-to-end design process, from research and wireframing, to testing prototypes on the Autohof, to the final design.
- Champion user-centered design: Conduct user research and gather on-sight insights with truckers to ensure our product resonates with real users.
- Test and iterate: Use feedback loops, data, and A/B testing to improve and refine designs based on the usage.
- Simplify complex ideas: Create clear, functional, and visually appealing designs that solve problems and elevate the user journey.
- Collaborate with a growth-hungry scrum team: Work closely with engineers, designers, marketers, and up to CEO and investors to translate business & user needs into intuitive and delightful experiences.
- Develop a consistent brand and design system: Contribute to the design system and maintain consistency across all digital touchpoints.
- Stay ahead of trends: Keep up with the latest UX/UI trends, AI tools, and techniques to ensure our product remains cutting-edge.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is user-obsessed: You have a natural empathy for truckers and a desire to create designs that improve their lives.
- Thinks outside the box: You thrive in a creative environment and aren’t afraid to take risks or try new ideas.
- Loves collaboration: You enjoy working with others, actively seek feedback, and contribute to a positive team culture.
- Has a growth mindset: You’re always learning, experimenting, and improving your skills.
- Has 2+ years of experience in creative work and app design, ideally with a degree in design, interaction design, human-computer interaction, or a related field. If not, feel free to show us your talent in other ways!
- Possesses all classic UX skills with extra focus on research and testing, especially in the real environment of the user. Research experience is a must-have skill.
- Has experience with various research and testing methods.
- Has experience working with data scientists.
- Is familiar with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD and other industry-standard design tools, as these are the tools we currently use. If you know better ones, let’s try it out!
- Has experience creating site maps, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Has a portfolio that showcases real professional experience.
- Has proficient German and English language skills.
- Speaks German, and ‘English’ means more to you than just breakfast.
- Fluency in Russian, Ukrainian, or other Eastern European languages.

- Where to work? We-Work on site and some work remotely. No fruit basket, but lots of (fancy) milk (and barista coffee - only in the office, unless you are a barista yourself or know one:))
