SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER
Role Description
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Product Manager to lead the design and development of a new customer portal. This portal will enable authorized users to access support, purchase additional products, and gain insights from their data, among other functionalities.
The Product Manager will oversee the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration with Salesforce, Okta, and the install base management system. This is a 6-month contract position, with the potential for extension based on project needs and performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Leadership & Management
- Lead the project from inception to completion within the 6-month timeframe.
- Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support.
2. Stakeholder Management
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish clear deliverables.
- Conduct regular status updates and ensure transparent communication with all stakeholders.
3. Design & Development
- Work with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Ensure the portal aligns with brand guidelines and customer expectations.
- Oversee the development process, ensuring timely progress and addressing any technical challenges.
4. Integration & Testing
- Coordinate integration efforts with Salesforce, Okta, and the install base management system.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive testing plan to ensure flawless functionality.
- Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to gather feedback and iterate on the product.
5. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Implement tracking mechanisms to understand product usage and effectiveness.
- Monitor and analyze user engagement metrics to drive continuous improvements.
Required Experience & Skills
1. Experience
- 5+ years of proven experience in product management, preferably with a focus on customer portals or SaaS products.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional projects from concept to launch.
- Experience integrating third-party systems (e.g., Salesforce, Okta).
- Background in large, complex corporate environments.
2. Knowledge
- Strong understanding of product development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with UX/UI best practices and design principles.
- Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools.
3. Skills
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Technical proficiency to coordinate integration requirements with engineering teams.
Qualifications & Education
- Proven experience is more important than formal qualifications.
