DevOps Engineer (Big Data Platform)

The product and team:

We are looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer to work with the latest and greatest big data technologies, and build our newest hybrid Big Data Platform, on-premises and AWS. As part of a team of DevOps engineers, you are responsible for implementing, operating, and enhancing our self-service platform used by Swisscom engineers to build data-driven products.

As a DevOps Engineer you will:

• Develop code to enhance our self-service capabilities
• Create automation code to deploy and manage resources in AWS environment
• Join the operation team and help improve both the reliability and the availability of our 24/7 platform

• Salary from 2400 to 5000 EUR monthly gross

Job requirements

• Software engineering experience in Python and Java
• Cloud platform engineering experience with CI/CD and IaC
• Experience on Kubernetes as a plus
• 3+ years of professional experience
• Collaborating with an international and geographically distributed team, embracing cultural diversity, and engaging with different stakeholders
• Good English
