MOBILE APPLICATION DEVELOPER (FLUTTER)

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Mobile Application Developer with Flutter for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Romania. Our client is a leading provider of video analysis solutions for loss prevention and security. It offers a cloud-based platform that acts as a hub to analyze the video stream to find the key points of data and create alerts and reports. It provides motion alerts by detecting unusual motion by setting regions of the camera views and provides alerts when activity happens. It offers a wide range of tools to keep track of important events and history and identify outlying patterns and incidents. The subscription-based software connects the camera footage with the POS data to review all POS transactions. It pairs them with the corresponding real-time video, creating a dashboard of searchable moments. These moments allow to filter by specific incidents like movement in a room, particular purchases, and unusual staff behavior. The company is headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario, with regional representation worldwide, and serves the retail, banking, and restaurant industries.

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience developing high-performance, industry-standard Android and/or iOS mobile applications.
• Experience with both platforms is preferred, using Flutter or a similar multi-platform framework.
• Familiarity with advanced testing methodologies and tools for mobile applications.
• The ability to prioritize testing and are deeply committed to quality assurance.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Experience working on products involving video streaming.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Knowledge of Dart, React, TypeScript, and Native Android or iOS.
• Experience as a team lead or project lead.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Lead and create cross-platform widgets using Flutter to integrate with existing native mobile and web applications.
• Conduct, develop, and maintain existing Native Android and iOS applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and dev team members to imagine, define, design, and ship new features.
• Seek customer feedback and report on customer experience to enhance development and drive improvements in application performance.
• Test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Strong domain ownership in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards and practices and support and mentor other developers.
