Job description
- As a business analyst, you act as the bridge between the product owners and the technical BI team. Through workshops and individual discussions, you quickly familiarize yourself with the business domain, analyze business requirements, and ensure their accurate interpretation.
- You create visualization proposals and align them with your stakeholders, leveraging your ability to present insights and information clearly.
- You translate your findings and analyses into a detailed analysis document.
- You engage with application owners and source data owners to design functional data flows. With sufficient technical knowledge, you can ask critical questions.
- You support the BI and DWH architect in designing an optimal BI solution.
- You describe, plan, and organize functional tests in a concrete test plan, and you actively participate in these tests.
- You ensure the quality of datasets and the reporting portfolio, providing clear presentations of datasets and reports while informing the organization and the customer.
Requirements
- You have several years of experience as an analyst conducting functional, process, or business analyses.
- You communicate fluently and quickly grasp business domains.
- You have experience with data modeling techniques and/or other analytical methods.
- Experience in a BI environment or with reporting tools is a plus.
- You excel at presenting data attractively using visualization techniques. You value not only accurate data content but also clear and visually engaging presentations.
- You are critical and prioritize data accuracy and correct interpretation.
- You can work independently and take ownership of your tasks.
- You are structured, highly analytical, and capable of setting priorities. You strike the right balance between abstraction and detail.
- You work result-oriented with an eye for risks and quality.
- You communicate fluently in English.
- You hold a master’s degree (e.g., Computer Science, Economics, Business Engineering, Business Information Management) or a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent through experience.
