Security Engineer

As a Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in protecting our infrastructure and applications. You will be responsible for conducting internal security assessments, contributing to our detection and response capabilities, and enhancing our cloud security posture. Your expertise will help us to deliver improved vulnerability management and enhance our defenses while contributing to compliance with security best practices.

Conduct internal security testing, including penetration testing, internal red teaming, and threat simulations.

Collaborate with technical teams to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities in applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments.

Secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) by implementing best practices and identifying misconfigurations.

Participate in incident response, threat hunting, and security monitoring activities.

Develop and implement security tools, automation scripts, and testing frameworks.

Knowledge sharing regarding latest cyber threats, attack techniques, and security trends.

Work closely with our DevOps and IT teams to enforce secure coding and infrastructure deployment practices.

• 4 to 6 years of experience in Cybersecurity
• Strong expertise in vulnerability management and internal red teaming
• Experience in Operational Security (OpSec) and Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in exploiting and securing web applications, networks, and cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework, SIEM tools, and security automation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Certifications or other proven qualifications such as OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional) and AWS Certified Security - Red Team

Ability to utilize offensive security skills for defensive practices (Purple team)

Familiarity with Kubernetes security, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevSecOps practices.

Scripting and automation skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
