Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our client’s operations in Sandviken, Sweden (relocation package included). This role involves overseeing large-scale, complex projects within the data centre sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive project management experience, and the ability to maintain high-quality standards while ensuring safe work practices. You will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of project delivery and building trusted relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a visible leader onsite, monitoring progress and ensuring adherence to safe work practices.
• Collaborate with the client, consultants, and contractors to manage snagging activities, schedules, and partner engagement.
• Proactively identify issues and work with the team to resolve them effectively.
• Implement and oversee key project processes, partnering with the client to drive improvements and adaptations as needed.
• Lead and participate in critical meetings to track progress, resolve challenges, and communicate key impacts to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with established project procedures and strive for continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in project management within the Data Centre sector, with an Electrical bias.
• A recognised project management professional certification or willingness to pursue one (support can be provided).
• A degree or equivalent experience in project management, construction, or a similar field.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A team-oriented individual who thrives in collaborative environments and fosters positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
