Chief Technology Officer

A Western fintech firm is launching a new office in the UAE and is looking to hire a local CTO to define and execute the technology vision, drive innovation, and oversee the development of the company’s products and solutions in the banking and brokerage space. The CTO will be responsible for scaling the engineering team, ensuring alignment between technology and business goals, and fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance with the wider team spread globally.

Requirements:

• Experience in fintech is highly desirable
• Experience working in small environments and building multiple engineering teams in hyper-growth environments
• Proven track record of adaptability to remote and onsite cultures
• Successful launches of multiple greenfield products from start to finish
• In-depth knowledge of fintech technologies such as payment systems, digital wallets, blockchain, AI/ML, and data encryption
• Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, particularly in the context of fast-growing fintech companies.
