Title: IT Engineering Manager

Duration: FTE Permanent

Location: Dubai

Salary: AED32,000-35,000 with family benefits (ie annual economy class tickets / private medical insurance / visa costs)

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Engineering, or IT-related discipline.

At least 15 years of experience in a Software/Systems Engineering role, or 10 years of experience in conjunction with a higher degree (MSc, MBA, PhD, etc).

Previous experience in a technical/team leadership role.

Broad knowledge of a wide range of software and systems-related tools and technologies: Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems, C/C++/Python programming, TCP/IP networking, distributed systems architecture, messaging and asynchronous communications, etc.

Familiarity with a variety of hardware and software systems, devices, and components, particularly in relation to intelligent transportation systems: ANPR technologies, IP cameras, laser range scanners, RFID readers, etc.
