The Role

As a Customer Solution Architect - Cloud Infrastructure, you'll be the go-to expert for organizations transitioning from DevOps to platform engineering. You'll work hands-on with leading cloud-native technologies, helping customers design, implement, and optimize their IDPs using Humanitec and other cutting-edge tools. Your expertise will not only help customers but also directly influence Humanitec’s Platform Orchestrator, shaping the future of our product.

In this role, you will:

• Partner with customers to understand their cloud infrastructure and platform needs.
• Design and implement scalable IDP solutions using Humanitec.
• Debug and optimize Kubernetes-based environments.
• Work with IaC tools such as Terraform, OpenTofu, and Pulumi.
• Troubleshoot multi-cloud setups across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices tailored to customer stacks.
• Present findings, lead technical discussions, and coordinate action plans.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve Humanitec’s products.
• Represent Humanitec at industry events, conferences, and community meetups.
  
  

This is a remote-first role with a global scope, primarily supporting customers across Europe, Asia, and Oceania.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in Platform, Cloud, Infrastructure, SRE, or DevOps engineering.
• Deep expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure); certifications are a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes deployment, management, and debugging.
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, OpenTofu, Pulumi).
• Familiarity with cloud-native tools (CI/CD, observability, networking, security).
• Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
• Timezone: UTC +2 to UTC +6 (EMEA focus, Oceania support).
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
