My client, a huge bank here in the UAE is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join them on an initial 12-month contract here in Dubai:

As an IT Project Manager, you will drive the successful delivery of technology projects within their Wealth and Investment Management division. You will be responsible for end-to-end project management, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory compliance, and seamless collaboration between IT and business stakeholders.

Candidates must have experience in projects within Wealth & Investments within the banks, such as Equities, Trading, Derivatives, Wealth, Crypto

Key Responsibilities:

✔️ Lead and manage IT projects related to banking, wealth management, and investment platforms

✔️ Work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, developers, and vendors to deliver solutions on time and within budget

✔️ Develop detailed project plans, budgets, risk management frameworks, and progress reports

✔️ Ensure projects align with regulatory requirements and banking compliance standards

✔️ Drive Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies as needed for project execution

✔️ Manage relationships with external vendors, fintech partners, and internal IT teams

✔️ Oversee system integrations, migrations, and technology upgrades

✔️ Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies across projects

What We're Looking For:

✅ 5+ years of IT Project Management experience in banking, wealth, or investment management

✅ Strong understanding of wealth management platforms, investment products, and trading systems

✅ Experience managing projects involving digital transformation, cloud adoption, or core banking systems

✅ Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies

✅ Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or other PM tools

✅ Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (MiFID, Basel III, FCA, etc.)

✅ Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills

✅ Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, CSM) is a plus
