Cyber Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Specialist to join our team! As an ideal candidate you will play a crucial part in Develop and Maintain Automation Playbooks Design develop and maintain automated playbooks on the XSOAR and XSIAM platform to streamline security operations and incident response processes.

In This Role, You Will

• Design, develop, and maintain automated playbooks on the XSOAR & XSIAM platform to streamline security operations and incident response processes.
• Familiarity with building automated detection and response workflows using SOAR platforms to enhance threat detection capabilities.
• Create and implement custom integrations with a wide range of third-party security tools and technologies (SIEMs, firewalls, threat intelligence platforms, etc.).
• Use Python scripting to build, customize, and enhance automation workflows, ensuring smooth integration between various security controls.
• Leverage APIs and SDKs to integrate with internal and external systems, enabling seamless data exchange and improving operational efficiency.
• Identify and resolve technical issues within playbooks, integrations, and automations. Provide support to ensure the stability and performance of security systems.
• Work alongside multi-functional teams, including cybersecurity analysts, engineers, SOC and other customers, to understand automation requirements and improve security response processes.
• Provide clear, concise documentation for custom code, playbooks, integrations, and configurations to support ongoing development and troubleshooting.
  
  

What You’ll Need To Succeed (required Skills)

• Proven expertise in Automation and relevant experience in Security Operations.
• Must have hands-on experience with XSOAR/Demisto/Phantom/Swimlane or D3 Security, with a demonstrable record of successful automation playbook development & maintenance.
• Proven foundation in building automated detection and response workflows using SOAR platforms to improve threat detection capabilities.
• Strong Python programming skills for automation, integration, and custom code development within XSOAR.
• Require 4+ years of experience in Information Security, with at least 3 years in the Automation/SOAR domain.
• Experience in detection engineering, including the development and fine-tuning of detection rules, use cases, and threat intelligence integrations to identify and respond to security incidents.

• Cortex XSOAR Certified Developer
• Palo Alto Networks Cortex XSOAR Certified Automation Engineer (XSOAR-CE)
• CompTIA Security+ or CEH or CISSP
