Takes technical ownership of network initiatives.
  • Ensuring network documentation and knowledge bases are kept up-to-date through continuous improvement methods as an effective tool for design, support, and troubleshooting.
  • Working with vendors to determine best procedures for resolving network-related issues, and managing vendor relationships throughout the lifecycle of network equipment and services.
  • Providing guidance on the design, implementation, and support of network systems to meet business, security, and service level requirements.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Five to seven years of experience in network administration and support, with experience in routing, switching, firewalls, network security, and troubleshooting network hardware and services.
  • Experience with cloud networking services (Azure, AWS, SD-WAN, VPNs, etc.) and networking in hybrid cloud environments.
  • Desired certifications: Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), MS Azure, ITIL Foundations, or equivalent work experience.
  • Expert-level knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with telephony systems (PBX, SIP, PRI, VOIP, ACD, UCaaS), unified messaging technologies, and network-based voice systems is a plus.
