Our customer is the European online car market with over 30 million monthly users, with a market presence in 18 countries. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of online car markets and enhancing the user experience for millions of car buyers and sellers.

Responsibilities:

Maintenance of existing services (e.g., bug fixes, security updates, performance optimization, technical improvements in Java, Scala, and TypeScript/React).
Building new APIs and services using Java, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, and AWS cloud solutions.
Migrating legacy services to new technologies.
Collaborate with other teams to analyze and improve the product.

Requirements:

Must-Have:

Designing services and analyzing the architecture of existing ones, with the ability to identify architectural vulnerabilities.
Strong understanding of databases (both RDBMS and NoSQL solutions) and knowledge of database optimization techniques.
Proficiency with Java/Spring Boot for building APIs and microservices
Experience with TypeScript/React for web application development

Should Have:

Knowledge of CI/CD process, containerization (e.g., Docker), and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
AWS cloud solutions (e.g., RDS, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, Lambda, CloudFront, CloudFormation, EC2)
Experience with messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ). Apache Kafka is preferable.
Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM tools

Nice to Have:

Asynchronous programming experience with Java (e.g., Project Reactor)
PostgreSQL in-depth, JOOQ
OAuth 2.0, SSO integration
Experience with observability tools like Datadog
