The client is a fast-moving, highly technical team of people with the ambitious goal of bringing people better health and well-being through the best possible sleep experience. Simply put, we aim to be the leader in sleep. We combine our established expertise in creating comfortable, adjustable beds with the latest in sleep science, cutting-edge sensor technology, and data processing algorithms.

Requirements:

Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, containerd, AWS ECS, Kubernetes (AWS EKS, Good to know, but we don’t use Kubernetes)

Cloud Infrastructure (AWS): EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, ASG, ALB, Route 53

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, AWS CloudFormation

CI/CD & GitOps: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform Cloud

Monitoring & Logging: Datadog, Sumologic, AWS CloudWatch, Grafana + Prometheus, ELK (Good to know, but we don’t use Grafana, Prometheus, ELK)

Security & DevSecOps: AWS GuardDuty, AWS Inspector, AWS Control Tower, AWS Secrets Manager, IAM, BurpSuite, SonarQube

Financial Optimization (FinOps): AWS Billing, Spot Instances, AWS Savings Plans

Databases: RDS PostgreSQL, MySQL

Message Queues & Streaming Data: Kafka (AWS MSK), AWS SQS

CDN: CloudFront, Cloudflare (Good to know, but we don’t use Cloudflare)

Job Responsibilities:

Work together with developers to automate build and deploy using AWS ECS, Docker, Jenkins, scripting languages

Manage access control and security in AWS IAM, Active Directory

Continuously improve DevOps tools, processes and procedures

Represent the DevOps team in collaborating with other teams

Share the responsibility for Production operations
