We are seeking a skilled Laravel Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of APIs for our mobile application. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating robust, secure, and efficient APIs, implementing new features, and ensuring the smooth operation of our mobile app’s backend.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs to support mobile app functionality.
- Integrate APIs with the mobile app, ensuring smooth communication between frontend and backend.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers to define API requirements and endpoints.
- Build new features to enhance app functionality based on business requirements.
- Optimize performance and scalability of the API to support high volumes of traffic.
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely fixes.
- Ensure code quality and maintain best practices in API security and efficiency.
- Technical Skills:
- 2-3 years of experience in PHP and Laravel, focusing on API development and maintenance.
- Proficiency in MySQL for data management, with experience in optimizing and securing database queries.
- Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS for hosting and managing app infrastructure (preferred).
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and working with mobile app teams.
- Knowledge of scripting (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation tasks
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication, especially in coordinating with frontend/mobile developers.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
