Senior Java Software Engineer

What about the project:

Our client is a global distributor of hardware and software solutions, offering e-commerce & logistics services to its partners. The client is developing a state-of-art back & front office solution to streamline the management of clients, invoices, requests, delivery of parcels, returns and more. The project will last for a duration of 6 months.

Technical stack:

• Microservices architecture built on the top of Java & Spring;
• PostgreSQL database;
• Docker Compose;
• Auth0.

What you will do:

• Implement new microservices and new business features according to the best practices.
• Design & implementation with 3rd party system with the use of OAuth protocols and REST API.
• Implement observability & monitoring patterns in the project.
• Implement the internal Identity and Access Management solution.
• Migrate the existing solution to Kubernetes.
• Participate in agile software development activities (e.g. stand-ups, planning meetings, demos, retrospectives).

What you need:

• 5+ years of strong experience in microservices & Java.
• Experience with PostgreSQL (or any other SQL database).
• Proficient with Spring Boot framework and the whole Spring ecosystem.
• Experience with REST API, TestContainers, Maven/Gradle, Docker Compose.
• Strong experience in designing solutions and presenting your architectural point of view to others.
• Upper-intermediate English level.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with message brokers and streaming solutions (e.g. ActiveMQ).
• Experience with CI/CD, Kubernetes, Helm and DevOps approach. Experience with common security patterns (especially OWASP) & OAuth and KeyCloak.
