Assistant ICT Officer - Office of the Registrar General, Fair Trading NSW

Location: McKell, office attendance required 2-3 days per week, with Tuesday designated as the landing day for all staff.

Your day-to-day
- Delivering multiple ICT support activities and services in line with agreed standards, timeframes and milestones, given tight timeframes, competing demands and priorities and the need to maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
- Building experience and knowledge of digital and IT policies and the technology that underpins the operations of the land title registry and ELNOs, to support technical innovation of the land titles system.
- Assisting the team to build and maintain regulatory tools to support legal, policy, litigation, regulatory and contract management responsibilities across ORG.
- Providing project and operational support, ensuring project plans, milestones, and deliverables adhere to time, cost, and quality indicators.
- Updating and collating documentation to support information flow and decision-making.
- Undertake basic research and analysis and contribute to the preparation of project briefs to support informed decision-making and planning.
- Assisting in identifying non-compliance to reduce risk and improve outcomes.
- Communicating with stakeholders to resolve inquiries and issues promptly.
- Providing a range of secretariat and administrative services, including coordinating committee meetings and preparing papers, to support the team.
- Supporting ORG with a range of reporting, audits, and project work through the provision of advice and guidance on the use of tools and corporate standards reporting; arranging for audits; and identifying areas for improvement.

Your ability to balance multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail, sets you apart. You possess a keen interest in digital and IT policies, and you are enthusiastic about supporting technical innovation within the land title registry and ELNOs.

Salary Grade 5/6, with the base salary for this role starting at $97,027 base plus superannuation
