Network Engineer

Network Engineer - 12 Month Contract - Hybrid Working - $850 Per Day

An exciting contract role has just opened up looking for an experienced, Sydney based network engineer capable of providing high level technical services in a complex network environment.

This position requires you to work very hands on in implementing, managing, operating and supporting high performance technology.

The role is available on a 12 month, extendable contract, working in a hybrid set up with 2-3 days required in the office.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the operations and troubleshooting efforts of all network services and devices
• Implement Network changes
• Major Incident Management
• Act as an escalation point for junior engineers on the team
• Collaborate with cross functional teams
• Internal and external stakeholder management

Required Skills:

• CCNP Level
• Cisco Routing and Switching Knowledge
• Good Knowledge of VxLAN EVPN
• Understanding of Network Automation
• Network Security skills - Firewalls, Load balancers
