Senior Functional Tester

We are seeking a skilled Senior Functional Tester to join our driven team. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of mobile and API testing, along with a proven track record of producing comprehensive test plans and detailed test reports. This role requires close collaboration with the development team to ensure high-quality outputs, adherence to best practices, and effective communication throughout the testing process.

Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with developers to establish specific testing strategies for new features
  • Craft detailed test plans and maintain existing test cases
  • Act quickly and efficiently to document and resolve bug reports
  • Follow and enhance quality assurance protocols to verify and address issues
  • Engage in continuous cross-functional teamwork to support software development
  • Stay updated on industry trends to improve testing processes and adopt best practices
  • Regularly communicate with the development team to align testing protocols with project needs


Requirements


  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Proficiency in Android and iOS mobile application testing including use of adb commands for deployment
  • Background in utilizing mobile simulators for testing purposes
  • Expertise in manual testing, covering functional, integration, and accessibility testing
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies
