As a Data Analyst, you will be a key part of the Operational Excellence team, helping to enhance and streamline our processes to ensure efficiency, automation, and scalability at Bitpanda. In this role, you will play a strategic and collaborative role in monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing business operations—primarily within Payments and Risk Operations. By generating valuable insights, identifying opportunities for improvement, and ensuring data integrity, you will help shape key decisions that drive real impact. This isn’t just a BI Analyst role focused on reporting—you will be a trusted partner and problem-solver, working alongside teams to uncover trends, enhance performance, and create meaningful solutions.

• Keep a pulse on key business metrics – Develop and maintain reports that provide actionable insights to leadership (daily, weekly, and monthly).


• Champion data integrity & accessibility – Work closely with product and data engineering teams to enhance data quality and ensure seamless availability.


• Implement smart alerts & anomaly detection – Set up automated alerts to proactively detect any issues or trends impacting payment performance.


• Drive strategic impact  – Collaborate with the Payments team to develop and deliver data-driven recommendations that enhance performance and efficiency.

• Hold a Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Finance, or a related field.


• Relevant experience as a process/product analyst, ideally within Risk & Payments.


• Skilled in SQL, Python, and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Metabase, Power BI), with experience working with large datasets


• A natural problem-solver who loves transforming complex data into clear, impactful insights through reports and dashboards.


• Proactive and solutions-focused, always looking for ways to optimize processes and drive meaningful improvements.
