As a Project Manager – Process Optimization & Business Development, you will lead strategic initiatives to improve processes within Vaillant Group Belgium, ensuring efficiency and long-term growth opportunities. You will work on projects that identify gaps, optimize workflows, and lay the foundation for future business development. Given the current low level of maturity in these areas, this role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to navigate a fast-changing environment.

Your responsibilities will include

• Process Optimization: Analyze existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements to optimize operations across various departments.
• Strategic Project Leadership: Define and manage key initiatives that support the company’s long-term growth strategy, focusing on process maturity and business scalability.
• Business Development (Long-Term Perspective): Identify opportunities for innovation and growth beyond process improvements, contributing to future business strategies.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Service teams to ensure alignment with overall business goals.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Develop clear roadmaps, set measurable KPIs, and track the impact of optimization efforts.
• Change Management: Support the organization in adapting to new ways of working, ensuring successful implementation of projects.
• Potential Consultant Collaboration: Due to the urgency of the function, there may be collaboration with consultants in the early phases.

Option 1: Junior Profile (Growth-Oriented)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, eager to learn and develop.
• Ability to work independently but also open to coaching and guidance.
• Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior internship or 1-2 years of experience in project management, process optimization, or strategy is a plus.
• Fluency in Dutch and English (French is a plus).
  
  

Option 2: Experienced Profile (Immediate Impact)

• 3-5 years of experience in process optimization, business development, or project management.
• Proven track record of leading strategic projects and delivering measurable improvements.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to drive change in a complex environment.
• Affinity with IT-related topics (data analysis, digital solutions, process automation).
